Learn about Bonuses

Overview

In this article, users will learn how to track hired candidates, view bonus status, and determine why a bonus may be ineligible.

1. About Bonuses

The "My Bonuses" tab tracks referral bonuses for all hired candidates. In order to be eligible for a bonus, your candidate's status in "My Referrals" must be "Hired" (Fig. 1).

2.3.  View Hired Candidates

Underneath bonuses, hired candidates are displayed. Here, you can view all of your pending bonuses and check on the statuses of the candidates you know were hired.

2.3.a.  Want to Find out More Information About Your Bonus?

From here, you can find out the day your candidate started, the day you’re eligible, and, if it’s already been paid, when you received the bonus.

3. View Bonus Status

Next to each referred candidate is their bonus status. This bonus status is split into the following four categories.

3.1.  Pending

Pending status means you are currently in the waiting period for your bonus. Many jobs require your candidate to stay for a minimum period of time before awarding you a bonus, with this payout date displayed next to the text "Eligible on" (Fig. 3a).

3.2.  Eligible

Eligible status means that you are eligible for a bonus, but it hasn't been paid out yet (Fig. 3b). The date your bonus will be paid out should be listed in your company's bonus policy. To troubleshoot why you haven't received your bonus yet, go to Why Haven't I Received My Eligible Bonus?

3.4.  Paid

Lastly, paid status means you have received the bonus (Fig. 3f). The bonus amount received from this referral should be included in the "Earned Bonuses" amount up top. If your bonus status is "Paid" in ERIN yet you haven't received payment, contact your company's Recruitment or Talent Acquisition team to verify your payroll information.
