In this article, you will learn how to build a tiered bonus in ERIN.
Using the Bonus Builder
When managing employee referrals, chances are you're looking to reward your employees for making great referrals and helping your team grow! ERIN makes it super easy to build out a bonus for your jobs. To build your first bonus (or to edit an existing bonus), navigate to the Bonus Settings tab. Click the Add Bonus button under the Bonus Rules header, and you'll be prompted to give your bonus a name.
From here, you'll be able to update the policy itself. You can use the Exclusions and Inclusions filters to select employee groups and departments that may not be eligible for a bonus. We can also use these filters to set currencies for each employee group.
Finally, you can start assigning dollar amounts and waiting periods for payout! Simply navigate to the Bonus Amount box under Payments and enter your bonus amount. After that's entered, enter your waiting period (in days). If you want your bonus to have multiple payments, click Add Bonus Tier and repeat the same process you completed above. Keep in mind that each bonus tier is a different payment, so if you want your bonus to be $500 paid out in two even payments, make sure you set each tier to $250. ERIN will show the total possible bonus for each position on your job cards from the Jobs tab.
