# How to Notify Recruiters about New Referral Leads
To follow along with this article, you will need:
- Administrator-level ERIN access
### Overview
In this article, you will learn how to notify recruiters when a referral lead is made.
### 1. About Referral Leads
Sometimes, you may not have a job available that fits a candidate's specific skills, but they might still be a great candidate. For these instances, ERIN can allow employees to make "Referral Leads".
To enable referral leads, contact your ERIN Customer Success Manager.
### 2. Notify Recruiters of Referral Leads
To enable referral lead notifications, navigate to the settings tab from the dashboard on the left-hand side and select "**Settings**" from the "Settings" dropdown (Fig. 1).

Next, scroll down to the "**Notifications**" tab in "Settings" and include any emails in the second to last text box that you would want to be notified of a referral lead (Fig. 2).

When satisfied, select "**Send Report**". Now, the designated email addresses will receive an email notification every time a referral lead is submitted.
